Each student would like to introduce themselves and to thank everyone who has made their Study Abroad experience possible. To learn more about one another and to have a little fun, each student chose an adjective that began with the same letter of their name.
First up are the residents of Tent Sage:
Kickbutt Ke
Hi, I'm Ke, a Geography junior at UT. I'm an international student from a China. I'm really grateful to my parents and the University of Texas for giving me this opportunity. Being a Chinese city boy, I've never seen any wild animals in the first 18 years of my life. This special trip gives me the chance to witness the greatness of nature. What I enjoy the most in this trip is seeing the stars at night. It's the first time for me to see so many stars in the sky. I'll definitely miss all of these stars when I go home.
Relaxed Ryan
Dumela (Hello) y'all, my name is Ryan and I am a senior studying geography. Since I am graduating soon and considering graduate school, this program gives me an excellent opportunity to better define what I'd like to study. Likewise, this study abroad program allows me to apply and experience first hand knowledge I have learned in the classroom over the past three years. I would like to thank my family and friends for supporting me throughout my education and for helping me make going on this trip a reality.
