Sara - I will graduate in Fall 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sustainability Studies and a minor in Government. I am on this trip because of my interest in the political and social aspects of land use and natural resource economics. I hope to find compromising solutions for human use of a landscape. I'd like to thank the Bernard and Audre Rappoport Foundation for helping me fund this trip, and my family for their boundless support for my ambitions.
Howdy, di tsala (friends)! Leina la me ke (My name is) Celine. I'm an Environmental Science major with a focus in Geography. I've always loved being outdoors and am grateful to be in the field gaining hands on experience through this unique program. I'm interested in relevant social and environmental issues around the world and I'm excited to learn about public policies that reflect the region of southern Africa. I'd like to thank Dr. Rapoport and the Bernard and Andre Rapoport Endowment and, of course, my parents who have always pushed me out of my comfort zone and supported my wild'n adventures. Kguntele! (I'll see you later!)
