Last week we had student presentations on environmental and social topics ranging from the role of fire and herbivory on savanna vegetation to the history of the San people in Botswana.

Shyam presenting on the influence of fire on savanna vegetation examined through experimental research that used burned and unburned vegetation plots in western Botswana.

Zach presenting on the role of elephant herbivory in Kruger National Park, South Africa.

Chad presented on the perceptions of health from the San people in Botswana.

Kennedy discussed the history of the San people and social justice movements surrounding their past.
